REUNITED

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

I can’t even begin to explain how ecstatic I am to be reunited with my ex Tangerine PR colleague, Lee Bloor. Lee and I formed what was known as the consumer dream team – I have never known anyone to churn out national coverage like this boy!

On his first day he’s already secured a double pager in the Daily Mirror and features in both Look and Now for Forever Unique – well done Lee and welcome to the team!

STEAL HER STYLE – VB CARMONTELLE DRESS

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

The woman formerly known as Posh Spice has launched a dress collection, and, believe it or not, it’s had raving reviews. It should come as no surprise that Victoria Beckham is an entrepreneur to be taken seriously; she’s already launched dVb denim, sunglasses and fragrance. But her sheaths and shift dresses, will sell not on the power of her name but on the sophistication of their cut and fit.

Her autumn/winter Victoria Beckham Dress Collection has been scoring rave reviews and celebrity fans in the shape of supermodel Elle Macpherson, Katherine Jenkins and Dannii Minogue.

Her collection includes the popular £2,095 Carmontelle dress. The cashmere-blend dress has been worn by Victoria in both grey, in west London, and in red to the American Idol auditions in Boston. Supermodel Elle Macpherson, who has snapped up five dresses, has also been spotted in the grey version.

So you can understand my excitement when I was browsing Forever Unique’s Autumn Winter collection and discovered a lookalike Victoria Beckham Carmontelle dress in red, at a fraction of the price costing just £150.

I’m in ‘Steal her Style’ and ‘Luxe for Less’ heaven right now and very excited about working with such a cutting-edge label…!

MINISTRY OF SOUND – WHERE IT ALL STARTED (…in the speakers!)

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

From going to the Ministry of Sound every Friday when I was younger, to now working with them is just perfect! I started PUNK PR to work on accounts that I am passionate about and this certainly fits the bill. When you walk in to the Ministry you get a buzz, even if it is for a business meeting. Everything is so slick, glossy and, well, mirrored!

On walking in to the main room of MoS this week, I reminisced about climbing into the speakers with mates in my teen years to see who could cope with the volume the longest (Ministry of Sound boasts the loudest sound system in the world). Now, I wont even enter a club without my earplugs (ACS custom-fit earplugs though as worn by all the superstar DJ’s!).
